UPSTACK announces acquisition of ChaseTek

by Lottar

UPSTACK, a fast-growing platform that combines industry-leading advisors, advanced technology and dedicated customer service resources, will acquire ChaseTek Partners LLC, an independent telecommunications agency and technology consulting firm in Columbus, Ohio.

ChaseTek President Chris Wolfe and Vice President Michael Marlowe will join UPSTACK as partners and managing directors as part of the acquisition. In addition, eight technology specialists from ChaseTek’s staff will join UPSTACK’s support team.

“ChaseTek has grown into a respected and respected technology infrastructure consulting firm by filling a gap in the market for expert advice paired with managed services,” said UPSTACK Founder and CEO Christopher Trapp. “Their model aligns perfectly with our own, and we are excited to welcome Chris, Michael and team to UPSTACK.”

Solutions offered by UPSTACK include colocation, network connectivity, private and public cloud, mobility, SD-WAN, IoT, unified communications, cloud contact center, security and business continuity.

Founded in 2004, ChaseTek provides consulting IT and telecommunications procurement, management and support to more than 3,000 businesses of all sizes. It offers unified communications as a service (UCaaS), contact center as a service (CCaaS), cybersecurity, Internet, networking, backup and disaster recovery, mobility, IoT, and cloud infrastructure. ChaseTek provides services to businesses in the retail, healthcare, financial services and manufacturing industries in multiple locations.

Wolfe founded ChaseTek to help business customers find solutions, manage projects and get help desk support for their communications environments. The ChaseTek model was popular, and the company grew rapidly. Marlowe joined ChaseTek in 2017. He helped the company grow by developing a formalized consultative sales process that helped them serve customers beyond their geographic boundaries, even during the pandemic.

“While our technology solution set has changed, our core value proposition has remained the same,” said Wolfe. “We ensure that suppliers’ promises are fulfilled and that customers realize the value of their technology infrastructure from the signing of contract. Our customers will immediately benefit from the support organization that UPSTACK is building, which would be difficult for us to scale on our own. And we are building a high degree of certainty that we can continue to deliver for our customers in the future.”

“The future for us as part of ON STACK is very exciting. What we can do to help our customers with UPSTACK’s tools, support and extensive offering is motivating. We immediately benefit from the depth of resources and capabilities.” added Marlowe.
